U.S. home improvement retailer Lowe's has developed Style StudioTM, an exclusive app for Apple Vision Pro. It allows customers to visualize and design their dream kitchen in a realistic VR environment. Lowe's Style Studio offers a variety of preset styles from professional designers and hundreds of customizable materials, fixtures, and appliances available from Lowe's. Completed designs can be shared on personal style boards via email, text, or AirDrop.

Sci-Fi Blockbuster Dune: Part Two gets Snapchat AR experience

Warner Bros. has launched a Snapchat campaign to promote the upcoming sci-fi film "Dune: Part Two," featuring an Augmented Reality lens and custom cameo stickers. 3D Creation-Tool Polycam raises $18M and is now available on Vision Pro

3D creation tool Polycam has raised $18 million in a Series A funding round. The funds will be used to hire engineers and researchers to expand Polycam's suite of creation tools and train AI base models for 3D reconstruction. The company's tools, which use computer vision and AI, enable users to create photorealistic 3D assets. Polycam has nearly 100,000 paid subscribers and has become popular for creating 3D scans using the iPhone's LiDAR scanner. Vision Pro: Update makes Personas more realistic

Apple has released the first developer beta of visionOS 1.1 for Vision Pro, which introduces improvements to the appearance of Personas. Several user posts have already surfaced showing the more detailed avatars. The spatial representation of users during video calls has received mixed reviews in initial Vision Pro testing.
