Join the Brazen Blaze Open Beta and win VR concert tickets for rapper T-Pain
VR studio MyDearest announces an open beta for the multiplayer VR game Brazen Blaze. As part of the registration process for the open beta, which will run from December 19, 2023 to January 6, 2024, the company is giving away five tickets to T-Pain's virtual concert in AmazeVR. The open beta itself will run from February 5 to February 12, 2024, and will be available for Meta Quest 3, Quest 2, Quest Pro and SteamVR. In addition to the ticket giveaway, MyDearest is running two other promotions where players who sign up for the Brazen Blaze Open Beta will be able to secure in-game currency and exclusive items at launch. Far Cry 5 VR mod to be released soon
Luke Ross is working on a VR mod for Far Cry 5 that will soon be available on his Patreon. Ross has previously created VR mods for Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, and GTA 5, although he had to take the latter offline due to a DMCA takedown notice from Take-Two. The VR mod for Far Cry 5 supports six degrees of freedom, but no motion controllers. Check out the video below to see the VR mod in action.
Sandbox-RPG Medieval Dynasty New Settlement is coming to Meta Quest
The Polish development studio Spectral Games will release a VR version of the PC game Medieval Dynasty New Settlement for Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro in spring 2024. The VR version will include a new story and map. You will be able to build, cook, hunt, and farm in a medieval landscape. According to the developers, there will be two modes: a story mode, which will introduce all the game mechanics in a narrative form, and a sandbox mode, in which all the features will be available to you right from the start.
