Xreal's Aura costs $1,279, and its first payment deadline falls on October 17
Xreal's product page prices the Aura glasses at $1,279 in the US for the 12GB/256GB model and $1,499 for 16GB/512GB, and Founder Priority Pass holders have until October 17 to pay the balance. Xreal's US store page asks them to "complete the final payment by October 17, 2026 to secure a Limited Edition with a unique serial number and qualify for priority shipping".

Two more dates follow it. A final payment made from October 18 through October 31 still qualifies for priority shipping but loses the Limited Edition serial, and Xreal says payments completed after October 31 "will not qualify for either benefit".
One date sits much further out. For every type of pass, Xreal says that if the payment process is not completed by April 28, 2027, the full purchase price of the pass is automatically refunded and the pass automatically cancelled.
Priority shipping buys a place in the queue, not a date
Xreal defines priority shipping as "the order in which products are dispatched from warehouses in each region", and says plainly that it "does not guarantee delivery by a specific date". The queue runs in two tiers, with the $299 Founder Priority Pass first and the $99 Launch Credit and the $199 Priority Deposit behind it.
The passes also differ on when an order ships. Xreal says a $299 pass is "guaranteed to ship on the official launch day" and the $99 and $199 passes in the second fulfilment wave, and adds that this "refers to the shipping date, not the delivery date".
Xreal labels the checkout a "full payment pre-order", and as of October 14 every memory and size variant reads "Variant sold out or unavailable" to a reader who is not signed in. Two frame sizes are listed, M for a 60 to 66mm interpupillary distance and L for 66 to 72mm, and Xreal says that once confirmed, a size and configuration cannot be changed.
Xreal still dates the launch only to autumn 2026
The same product page says Aura is "expected to launch in Fall 2026", and the store page narrows that only to shipping "before the holidays" in the US, Canada, Japan and South Korea. Dates for every other region are still to be confirmed.
The price also settles a promise Xreal made on that product page, that "the final retail price of the base model will not exceed US$1,500, excluding applicable taxes". At $1,279 the base model lands $221 under the ceiling Xreal set for it.
The listing has moved on since October 8, when Xreal's Aura page carried four versions its own FAQ called unannounced. The memory tiers now carry prices and the cut-off dates are in writing, although that FAQ still says final pricing and configurations "will be announced closer to launch". The Founder Priority Pass is capped at 2,000 reservations globally, which is the pool working to the October 17 date.
Each box is listed as the Aura glasses, the puck, a carrying case, a USB-C cable, several nose pads and a prescription lens frame. Xreal has kept filing hardware around the platform in the meantime, including an AR glasses computing kit that cleared the FCC with Wi-Fi 6E.
