New Announcements & Releases
Legends BMX: Mixed Reality Freestyle Hits Quest
Legends BMX, an immersive freestyle BMX experience, is set to launch May 8, 2025, for Meta Quest 3, 3S, and Quest 2. Developed by Saga Legends Games, Legends BMX uses the Quest’s passthrough feature to blend virtual skate parks with your real-world surroundings.
You can scale the skate park to fit your living space, pull off wild stunts, and compete globally via leaderboards and weekly challenges.
Puzzling Places: Berlin’s VR Hit Lands on Steam
Realities.io is bringing its acclaimed VR puzzle game, Puzzling Places, to PC VR on Steam in early 2026. Already available for Meta Quest, Pico, Playstation VR 2, and Apple Vision Pro, this 3D puzzler is expanding with a new flatscreen version for Steam and Steam Deck.
The Steam edition features two modes: a tabletop option for marathon puzzle sessions and a “snack mode” for quick plays.
Bearly Escape: Colorful Puzzle Adventure in Early Access
Bearly Escape, a VR puzzle adventure from Time Traveller, entered Early Access on May 1, 2025, for Meta Quest 3, 3S, and SteamVR. In this vibrant world, you’ll infiltrate secret labs to rescue kidnapped animals and search for your missing dog, Robin.
Solve clever puzzles, free animals turned into toys from vending machines, and restore the once-barren wilderness of Everwood. As you unravel the secrets behind Dr. Kidd’s environmental havoc, each animal you rescue brings the forest back to life. You can also chase high scores on global leaderboards and save over 40 animals along the way.
Slender: The Arrival VR Delayed to Late 2025
Slender: The Arrival VR, the VR adaptation of Slender: The Arrival’s 10th Anniversary Edition, has officially been delayed by Blue Isle Studios and Perp Games. Originally due out May 13th, the release has been postponed to later in 2025.
The developers say they need more time to polish the game and deliver a truly memorable — and terrifying — VR horror experience. When it lands, expect even more intense scares on PlayStation VR 2, Meta Quest, and PC VR.
Surviving Mars: Pioneer Brings Strategy to VR
Surviving Mars: Pioneer launches in Early Access for Meta Quest and Steam on May 8. A PSVR 2 version is planned for the game’s full release. This VR strategy title reimagines the original Surviving Mars flatscreen game, challenging you to build a thriving civilization on the Red Planet.
Unlike the top-down original, Pioneer puts you in the thick of it with a first-person perspective. You’ll need to manage resources like oxygen and food, construct bases, and pilot Mars rovers to keep your colony alive.
Remnant Protocol: Strategic Space Combat for Meta Quest
Remnant Protocol, a full-scale space combat sim for Meta Quest and PC VR, is targeting a late 2025 release. As the commander of the secret rebel base “Sanctuary,” you’ll coordinate a galaxy-wide uprising.
The game splits its action between high-octane cockpit battles and the strategic management of your rebel stronghold. You’ll allocate tight resources and personnel across research, shipbuilding, espionage, and recruitment. Each run promises a fresh experience with procedurally generated missions and dynamic storylines. Meta is backing the project as an official publishing partner.
Smash Drums: Rhythm Action Arrives on PSVR 2
Smash Drums drops on Playstation VR 2 May 15, boasting new features like adaptive triggers, headset haptics, and eye-tracking with foveated rendering. Expect upgrades across the board—improved real-time lighting, new effects, and enhanced environments.
PSVR 2 players get an exclusive “Social” mode, perfect for capturing gameplay from dynamic third-person angles and sharing your best clips. The base game (58 songs) is priced at $19.99, while the Premium Edition with all DLC (93 songs) goes for $54.99.
Eldramoor: New VR MMORPG from Genre Veterans
Resolute Games has announced its debut project, “Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist,” for Meta Quest and PC VR via Steam. The fantasy VR MMORPG is heading to Kickstarter soon and comes from developers with experience on Orbus and Zenith. Eldramoor focuses on community, accessibility, and inclusivity, with social interaction and community building at its heart.
DLCs & Updates
Raptor Cliffs: Walkabout Mini Golf’s Dinosaur Adventure
Mighty Coconut just dropped Raptor Cliffs, the newest course for Walkabout Mini Golf. This expansion whisks you to the American Pacific coast circa the 1970s, complete with towering redwoods and cheerful, well-fed dinosaurs.
Expect sweeping views straight out of a California-Oregon-Washington road trip. Raptor Cliffs marks the game’s 33rd course and is priced at $3.99. Mighty Coconut is also raising the base game price to $25, now bundling 14 courses.
Hellsweeper VR: Reckoning Update Unleashes New Weapons
The Reckoning update for Hellsweeper VR is live on all platforms. Headlining the patch is the Chakram—the game’s first ranged weapon, which returns to you boomerang-style. You can even split it into two half-blades with a flick of the wrist. Existing weapons are getting new tricks, too.
The update also introduces a new epithet that turns your stone fists into a “Swiss army knife of pure destruction.” Now you can attach weapons directly to your fists, enabling two weapon groups per hand. Unlocks no longer depend on levels or souls; they’re now tied to completing challenges.
