Apple confirms that Safari on Vision Pro supports WebXR, a web standard that enables immersive experiences through the browser. WebXR is already supported on a limited basis by Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, Safari, Quest Browser, Pico Browser, Magic Leap Browser, Chrome for Android, Samsung Internet, Opera Mobile, and Firefox for Android, some of which are in developer preview.

Octonic promises PC VR-level graphics for mobile VR fitness
The VR fitness app Octonic connects mobile VR headsets like Meta Quest with more than 400 treadmills. A patent-pending technique is said to enable elaborate backdrops in PC VR quality. Background videos shot on PC cover multiple layers/spheres of the same viewpoint, promising a better spatial impression than 360-degree videos. First supported tracks are "Snow Lake", "Alien Invasion" and the "Forest Trail" following on July 15.
