The new location features three free-roaming areas and offers The Park Playground's full library of original VR experiences for guests of all ages.

This includes the company's latest VR titles: the burglary adventure "The Break-in" and the e-sports inspired title "NanoClash Focus". The location will officially open on June 14th. The Park Playground has partnered with franchise partners and investors Sérgio Basto, José Carlos Marques and Miguel Soro.

CONTEXT

Team building experience with new VR Tournament

The standalone location is part of The Park Playground's plans to expand further into Western Europe and around the world. The company is working closely with the local team to ensure the experience remains consistent and compelling for consumers.

The Park Playground recently launched a new VR tournament called "The Park VR Tournament". This is a competitive group experience for team building events and large groups with catering packages.

The four-hour tournament pits up to 48 players in teams of four to eight against each other in two rounds of the VR game "NanoClash Focus". The best teams will advance to the finals.

The Parks VR Tournament is aimed at people of all ages and VR experience levels and can be booked at all The Park Playground locations in the UK. Similar VR experiences for groups are also available in Europe, for example at Sandbox VR or at theme parks such as Europa-Park.

The Park Playground was founded in 2018, and currently operates 15 owned and franchised locations in the UK and Europe. Its franchise program offers partners the opportunity to offer their own VR experiences and capitalize on the growing market.
