This $1,599.99 RTX 5070 gaming PC pairs a Core i7 with 32GB of RAM, but check the memory before buying
A desktop RTX 5070, Intel Core i7 and 32GB of memory for $1,599.99 is an appealing starting point for a gaming PC. That is the current Newegg price for the Yeyian Astra X YPI-AX470FC-570Q1N, with a $150 saving against the store’s displayed $1,749.99 comparison price.
The machine also includes a 1TB NVMe SSD, Windows 11 Home and an air-cooled CPU. Newegg showed it in stock, sold and shipped by Newegg, with free shipping and no required coupon or paid membership when checked. The store’s New condition filter included this exact model.
The saving is based on Newegg’s comparison price; it is not proof of a record low or the price the PC usually sells for. The same $1,599.99 price appeared in an earlier October listing. Price and availability can change.

The RTX 5070 and Core i7 are the headline parts
The Astra X uses Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 desktop graphics card with 12GB of GDDR7 video memory. Its Core i7-14700F has 20 cores, combining performance and efficiency cores. Together with 32GB of memory, that makes this a potentially useful system for gaming alongside other applications.

There is an important detail in the memory specification: Newegg lists the RAM as one 32GB DDR4-3200 module. That is different from a two-stick kit that can run in dual-channel mode, and it can affect performance in some workloads. Check the motherboard and memory compatibility before planning an upgrade rather than assuming another stick is included.
Storage is a 1TB NVMe drive, though Windows and preinstalled files reduce the space available to the buyer. Newegg lists an 850W power supply, an Intel B760 DDR4 motherboard, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth. The listing also includes a wired keyboard and a mouse; a monitor is not included.

Where the lower price comes with tradeoffs
The processor uses an air cooler, not liquid cooling, and the platform uses DDR4 rather than DDR5. Those choices do not stop the desktop from offering a capable dedicated graphics card, but they are worth comparing with similarly priced prebuilts, particularly if a dual-channel memory kit or more storage matters to you.
The RTX 5070 supports Nvidia’s DLSS features in compatible games. Actual results will depend on the game, resolution and settings, so there is no single frame rate to expect. The exact model number matters: other Astra X configurations use different processors, GPUs and memory.
