VR extraction shooter Astro Hunters VR launches in September on Meta Quest
The PvPvE extraction shooter Astro Hunters VR will be released on September 19, 2024 in the Meta Horizon Store for Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro. You can already pre-order the VR game and get a 10 percent discount and an exclusive skin. In Astro Hunters VR, you explore a unique planet, fight various enemies, collect resources and upgrade your weapons. Players can fight against each other, team up or betray each other.
Gorilla Tag Studio teases its next big project
Another Axiom, the studio behind the smash hit Gorilla Tag, has unveiled its new project: Orion Drift.
Like Gorilla Tag, Orion Drift uses arm-based locomotion, but instead of monkeys, you control robots in a space station. The space station can hold up to 200 players at a time and consists of several large areas where you can play different types of games.
A first video shows the current state of development. If you want to check out Orion Drift, you can sign up for closed early access on the game's Discord server.
The VR-exclusive Gorilla Tag has generated more than $100 million in revenue to date and has surpassed one million daily players.
