Meta is now selling refurbished Quest 3 headsets at a discount
Meta is now offering a refurbished version of the Quest 3 at reduced prices in its US store.
VR enthusiast Luna was the first to discover this fact.
The offer applies to both storage models and the discount is 10 percent.
- Quest 3 with 128 GB: $450 instead of $500
- Quest 3 with 512 GB: $580 instead of $650

According to Meta, the refurbished Quest 3 devices are "rigorously inspected" to ensure they work and look like new. There is a 30-day return policy and a limited 1-year warranty.

I can only speak from experience, but I damaged my Quest 2 a few years ago and sent it to Meta. I received a refurbished unit as a replacement that looked like new and worked perfectly.
