PAYDAY: Aces High promises free future heists, and its first one already has a date
PAYDAY: Aces High players will not have to buy future heists separately, developer Fast Travel Games says. The new VR co-op shooter’s first additional job, Coup De Grâce, is planned for December 14 and will be free for owners.
The studio’s new 2026 roadmap also sets out a November update and two community challenges. There is one change to the roadmap already: a hotfix has brought restart and abandon options forward, so party leaders no longer have to wait until November 19 for a way to restart a job.
Aces High launched on November 5 for Quest and Steam VR headsets. It is a paid game rather than a free-to-play title; the developer’s promise applies to new heists for people who own the game. The release includes six heists and four classes.

The first new heist arrives in December
Coup De Grâce is listed for December 14, although the team has not yet explained the setting or objectives. Fast Travel says all new heists, large or small, will be free for owners for as long as it continues developing the game.

The roadmap also lists new weapons, masks and other items in a Bank Robber Pack for December 14. It does not describe those items as part of the free heist, so players should not assume every future item is included in the purchase.
Before that, a community challenge is planned for November 26 with free gloves for participation. A second challenge is planned for December 10 with a free festive reward. As with any roadmap, dates and details can change.

Restart and abandon controls are already live
Originally, the developer listed a restart button for the November 19 update, with the possibility of shipping it sooner. A subsequent hotfix says those controls are now available to party leaders.
Restart Heist starts the job again without leaving the map. Abandon Heist sends the entire crew back to the safehouse together, giving a group an exit when it wants to change course.
The November 19 update remains planned for bug fixes and other features, including a haptics intensity slider. Aces High supports up to four players; its Steam listing identifies it as a VR-only game with single-player, online co-op and cross-platform multiplayer.
