Meta Quest: Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint now available
Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint have been released for Meta Quest. They are based on the Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) standard and require an internet connection as well as a monthly Microsoft 365 subscription. The 2D apps appear in front of a virtual background or in passthrough view, support multitasking with up to three windows, and can be controlled with a mouse and keyboard via Bluetooth. Xbox Cloud Gaming for Meta Quest was also released last week. All of these Microsoft services were announced in 2022, but have only now made it to the Quest Store.
