Meta Quest Charts: The next big VR release fails to make the top 10
The free multiplayer game Animal Company tops the Meta Quest charts, while the recently released Civilization 7 VR is only in 12th place.
Once again, the Meta Quest charts show that casual gaming and social VR experiences reign supreme. Animal Company has claimed the top spot in both chart lists, pushing Gorilla Tag down to second place. Beat Saber holds steady at number three in both rankings, proving it's still a fan favorite in the VR community.
Scary Baboon has clawed its way up to fourth place in the sales charts — a big jump from eighth place the week before. This horror multiplayer game, where players flee from terrifying simian monsters, seems to have struck a chord with Quest-Fans.
While budget-friendly VR games and free-to-play titles typically dominate the Quest charts, bigger releases often find themselves on the outside looking in. Case in point: the recently launched Civilization 7 VR only managed to reach 12th place in both charts. Its hefty $59.99 price tag might be partly to blame. Even more dramatic is the fall of the visually stunning VR adventure Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate. After barely missing the top 10 last week at 11th place, it's now plummeted to 46th.

- Animal Company
This free multiplayer game is the current king of the Meta Quest Store sales charts. Still in Early Access, Animal Company is wowing users with an impressive 4.9 out of 5 stars from over 119,000 ratings.
- Gorilla Tag
The free multiplayer movement game Gorilla Tag remains one of the most beloved VR games out there. Its 4.6-star rating from nearly 147,600 reviews speaks volumes.
- Beat Saber
The VR rhythm game classic Beat Saber continues to hold its own in the top charts. Over the years, it's racked up 4.5 stars from more than 52,600 ratings.
- Scary Baboon
In this VR horror multiplayer game, players must escape from monstrous monkeys by running, jumping, or hiding. The Early Access title boasts 4.6 stars from over 36,400 ratings.
- I Am Cat
This cat simulation game lets players explore life as a feline. Still in Early Access, I Am Cat offers typical cat behavior in an interactive sandbox environment and purrs with an impressive 4.9 stars from over 62,500 ratings.
- Blade & Sorcery: Nomad
This medieval fantasy combat simulator offers physics-based melee combat with various weapons and magical abilities. With 4.3 stars from over 56,600 reviews and a $29.99 price tag, it's another chart mainstay.
- Bonelab
The physics-based action shooter Bonelab impresses with its experimental gameplay and extensive modding options. Offering a mix of combat, parkour, and puzzles, it's earned 4.6 stars from over 30,200 ratings.
- Yeeps: Hide and Seek
This free multiplayer hide-and-seek game is a crowd-pleaser, boasting 4.9 stars from over 71,600 ratings. Players can create their own worlds and play with others.
- VRChat
The popular social VR platform lets users explore virtual worlds and interact with others. The free title has garnered 3.7 stars from over 30,500 ratings.
- PokerStars — Vegas Infinite
This VR casino game offers various games of chance in a mixed reality environment. With 3.9 stars from almost 29,900 reviews, it's not quite as highly rated as other titles in the top 10.
