Meta's cheapest AI glasses are a $249 Meta Adventurer, on sale on October 23
Meta's cheapest AI glasses are a new Meta Adventurer with a black frame, grey lenses and a plug-in case, starting at $249 in the US. Meta says it can be pre-ordered on Meta.com now and goes on sale on October 23, at what it calls "our most accessible price yet".

That is $50 under the $299 the Meta Glasses line has carried since Meta and EssilorLuxottica launched it on June 23, and it is a different pair rather than a cut on the old one. The $299 styles ship with a foldable charging case that Meta rates at up to 40 extra hours; the $249 Adventurer comes with a plug-in case, and Meta publishes no battery figure for it. The rectangular Adventurer at $299 is the pair Charter put on demo tables in Spectrum stores across the US earlier this month, at Meta's own price.
Meta's phrase for the October 23 rollout is "all countries where Meta Glasses are sold", and it gives no price for the Adventurer outside the US. The features are the ones Meta lists for the rest of the line on its Meta Glasses page: hands-free photos and video at up to 3K resolution, Meta AI for questions and local recommendations, Spotify playback, and spoken translation in more than 20 languages.
Kylie Jenner and LISA editions both start at $399
Meta Glasses by Kylie Jenner gets a new Ivory colourway of her slim oval Starfire style, from $399 in the US. The new LISA collection adds two more frames at the same starting price: a Meta Adventurer LISA Edition in a Moonlit Sky frame with Blush lenses, and a Meta Capri LISA Edition in an Eclipse cat-eye with grey lenses. Both take prescription lenses.
Two frame shapes join the collection, Meta Capri and Meta Nova, and a limited-edition Meta Fury with a clear frame and mirrored lenses will be sold only at Connect and in Meta Lab stores at launch. Meta gives Fury no price at all. Any pair can be customised for frame, lens and case colour through a Mix & Match programme that Meta's Connect round-up limits to the US.

Singapore, South Korea and Mexico buy in first
Meta Glasses went on sale in Singapore, South Korea and Mexico on September 23, with Brazil listed as coming soon. Eleven more markets are named for later this year, and those are for Oakley Meta, Ray-Ban Meta and Ray-Ban Meta Optics rather than for Meta Glasses: Turkey, Poland, Portugal, Israel, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
The United Arab Emirates is the odd one out. Meta's newsroom post counts it among the countries where Meta Glasses went on sale on September 23, while Meta's Connect round-up on meta.com lists it alongside Brazil as coming soon. Both pages are dated September 23, and Meta has not corrected either one.
Meta counts more than 100 options by the end of the year
Meta says that by the end of the year it will offer "more than 100 different glasses options across Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Meta Glasses". That figure counts colour, lens and frame combinations across three brands, not 100 separate models.
The cheap end is where the volume sits. AI glasses shipments rose 263% in the first half of 2026, and 96% of them had no display, Counterpoint found, and the $249 Adventurer has no display either.
Pre-orders opened on September 23 and the glasses reach shops on October 23. Anyone who wants the Ivory Kylie Jenner colourway or either LISA edition pays $399 to start.
