HyperX’s Cloud Jet gaming headset drops below $50 with two wireless connections
For less than $50, the black HyperX Cloud Jet gives PC players a wireless USB receiver and a separate Bluetooth connection for compatible devices. Best Buy lists the headset for $47.99, compared with its displayed $79.99 comparable value.
The exact model is AJ0T1AA, Best Buy SKU 6618285. The new black headset was sold by Best Buy with an Add to Cart button, free shipping and pickup options when checked for Aiea, Hawaii. No coupon or paid membership was shown as necessary to get the displayed price. Availability and delivery can vary by location.
The $32 difference is measured against Best Buy’s comparable value, rather than an independently established typical selling price. We have seen this price before, so this is not a claim that the headset has reached a new low. Check the selected color before ordering; Best Buy also lists a blue version.

Choose the USB receiver or Bluetooth for compatible devices
The Cloud Jet uses a 2.4GHz wireless connection with its USB receiver and supports Bluetooth 5.3. The receiver is useful for a compatible PC or PlayStation, while Bluetooth gives shoppers a way to connect to a compatible phone or another Bluetooth device. Best Buy lists PC, Mac, PS5, PS4 and mobile compatibility; check the connection requirements for your own setup.
HyperX specifies 40mm drivers and a boom microphone that swivels up to mute. The headset also has onboard controls, so a quick volume adjustment or connection change does not require reaching into a game menu.

Battery life depends on which connection you use
HyperX rates battery life at up to 25 hours over Bluetooth A2DP or up to 20 hours over the 2.4GHz connection. Those figures come from continuous-playback testing at 50% headphone volume; actual runtime will vary with use. The manufacturer lists approximately 4.5 hours for a full charge.
HyperX describes the Cloud Jet as a closed-back, over-ear headset with mesh earpads and a suspension headband. Fit is personal, so consider whether that style works for you before ordering. Its value here is the choice of wireless connections at the current price, not a promise that it will suit every platform or every listener.
