It allows for creative shots of the cars from different perspectives.

CONTEXT

Gran Turismo 7 on PSVR 2 one of the best VR racing games

Thanks to a free update shortly after its release on Playstation 5, Gran Turismo 7 is fully playable in VR on PSVR 2. Only the split-screen mode remains reserved for the flat screen.

According to series creator Kazunori Yamauchi, the VR version was planned from the beginning and the studio found it easy to adapt. The VR update offers the full game experience with licensed races, championships, reward races, 34 tracks, 97 track variations and over 440 cars.

The VR mode has been well received by fans and critics alike. In our review of Gran Turismo 7, Ben praises the graphics, immersion and driving experience of the VR version:

"Gran Turismo 7 looks so good: the lights, the racetracks, the cars, the instruments. Controls are also excellent, especially using a steering wheel. I've rarely had so much fun racing, and I would never play a Gran Turismo any other way. It has simply become great."
