Badminton Time VR was originally released last fall for Meta Quest. This summer, developer Fishing Cactus and publisher Decathlon are bringing the VR sports title to PlayStation VR2. In addition to a digital release, a physical disc version will follow shortly thereafter.

Designed for both beginners and seasoned players, Badminton Time VR lets you participate in tournaments, enjoy arcade mini-games, and hone your skills in environments like the Grand Canyon, a Japanese garden, or a tropical island paradise.

Built on a realistic simulation with precise physics, the game can be played sitting or standing. In training mode, you can practice against AI opponents and master essential shots. Avatars are fully customizable, with a range of outfits, headsets, hats, and rackets to choose from.

In addition to realistic matches, five arcade mini-games are ready to put your badminton skills to the test. For example, you'll need to knock numbered cans off hooks, disable a snake-shaped bomb, or eliminate pesky pop-up pirates and bombs. In these mini-games, you can compete against friends, other players, or the AI.

Once you've trained the necessary skills to hit targets at different heights, speeds, and distances, you can take part in tournaments in 1v1 or 2v2 mode with friends, the AI, or players from around the world, and climb the leaderboards.

Badminton Time VR can now be added to your wishlist on the Playstation Store or purchased for Meta Quest in the Horizon Store.
