New songs and modes in major free update for Pistol Whip
Pistol Whip, the popular VR rhythm shooter, has received an extensive free update called Voidslayer. The first part of this three-part metal music adventure was released yesterday for PC VR, Pico, Playstation VR 2, Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro. Voidslayer features intense power metal tracks from bands such as Bloodbound and Firewind. Two new gameplay modifiers have also been introduced: Color Match forces the use of two color-matched weapons, while Deflector causes bullets to be deflected back at enemies. The first scene, Hero's Dawn, takes you into a fiery, dark world. Parts two and three will follow in the coming weeks. Cloudhead will continue to support Pistol Whip with extensive free content updates.
Co-op mode for Green Hell VR coming in late 2024 for Meta Quest & PSVR 2
Last year, developer studio People Can Fly announced a multiplayer update for Green Hell VR. It has now been confirmed that the mode will be released in Q4 2024 and will be available for both Meta Quest 3 and the PSVR 2 version of the game. Up to four players can fight for survival in both Story Mode and Survival Mode at the same time. Here is a teaser video for the upcoming update.
