PSVR 2: Sci-fi shooter Soul Covenant takes you to a dystopian Japan
Japanese developer studio Thirdverse has announced its new VR game "Soul Covenant", which will be released in early 2024 for Playstation VR 2, Meta Quest 2 and PC VR. The game is set in a dystopian Japan and depicts the battle between humanity and machines. The teaser trailer can be found at the source link below. A first playable version will be shown at the Tokyo Game Show 2023, which takes place from September 21 to 24.
Meta Horizon Worlds now available on smartphones and web browsers
Meta begins expanding Meta Horizon Worlds beyond VR, launching the first Horizon world on mobile devices and web browsers. Android users can now request access to “Super Rumble” via the Meta Quest app, while the rollout for iOS will take place in the coming weeks. The limited early access is also available on any web browser via horizon.meta.com. Horizon Worlds is currently available in Canada, France, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
PSVR 2 version of Pixel Ripped 1995 has been delayed
The launch of Pixel Ripped 1995 on PSVR 2, originally scheduled for September 12, has been postponed to October 3, 2023. Developer studio ARVORE cites "unexpected delays in the quality assurance process" as the reason. Pixel Ripped 1995 is already available for PC VR, PSVR, Pico 4, and the Meta Quest 2. Owners of the PSVR 1 version will receive a free upgrade to the PSVR 2 version.
