Creed: Rise to Glory gets hand-tracking support on Meta Quest 3

Creed: Rise To Glory gets a free update with hand tracking support, Quest 3 improvements and a familiar opponent from the movie Rocky V: Tommy "The Machine" Gunn. The update also includes enhanced fitness features, UI improvements, and improved calorie tracking. Experimental hand tracking support for Quest allows players to throw punches, block and navigate the game. Creed: Rise To Glory - Championship Edition is available for Meta Quest and PSVR 2. An update for the PC VR version is not currently planned.

Devin Reimer, co-founder and former CEO of Owlchemy Labs, has unveiled his new studio AstroBeam, which will focus on multiplayer VR experiences. With $3 million in seed funding from Venture Reality Fund and Oculus founder Nate Mitchell, among others, AstroBeam aims to create "more comfortable, more accessible, and more human ways to hangout and have fun with friends in VR.". The goal is to create new interactive social experiences that focus on hand tracking and voice communication with people and NPCs. VR tactical shooter hit Onward gets major update

Downpour Interactive releases the extensive update 1.13 for the successful VR tactical shooter Onward on Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and PC-VR via Steam. The update includes improvements to the co-op mode and a new map. The PvE game modes have also been reworked, resulting in more intelligent bot behavior. There are also two new color options, a digital variant for night vision devices, IR flashes and parachute headlights for night missions. You can see all the new features in the release trailer.

In collaboration with XRHealth and Nord-Space Aps, HTC is adapting the Vive Focus 3 for use in space. The VR headset will be used to prevent mental illness among astronauts during their space missions. A VR therapy is designed to help maintain the mental balance of the men and women working in isolated, stressful conditions. Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen will be the first subject to use the HTC Vive Focus 3 on a six to eight month NASA mission.
