Stream live from Meta Quest 3 to YouTube, Twitch & TikTok with this free app
With a free VR app, you can now stream live as an avatar directly from your VR headset to your favorite platform.
VStreamer Live is a complete vtubing studio for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and Quest Pro. It enables live streams of your avatar in a frontal third-person view without complex PC setup and with up to 60 FPS. The app is currently available for free in Meta's App Lab early access program.
Live streaming on YouTube, TikTok, or Twitch
The app supports live streams and video uploads to YouTube, Twitch, TikTok and other platforms. If you have motion capture hardware from Mocopi, Perseptction Neuron or OptiTrack, you can also use full-body tracking.
You can download 2D pictures or 360-degree videos via a built-in web browser and use it directly as a background. It is also possible to cut and edit the recorded videos directly in the app. The interface offers a mixed reality mode, so you can always see your physical surroundings.
Free basic version with restrictions
VStreamer Live lets you use your Meta Avatar, a Ready Player.me avatar, or any other VRM avatar for the videos. Quest Pro even transfers your facial expressions to the avatar thanks to integrated eye and face tracking.
The app is free, but only in the basic version. In this version, some functions are blocked, and the app displays a watermark in your videos. If you want to get rid of this, you have to switch to a paid subscription.
This also unlocks access to live chat on YouTube and Twitch, allows you to use the integrated web browser directly as a background, cast a PC into your VR background for gaming streams, or use full-body tracking equipment. The developers charge $6 per month for the subscription.
