Asgard's Wrath 2: New Cosmic Event brings fresh loot and Mixed Reality challenges

Asgard's Wrath 2 has launched its second Cosmic Event: "Into the Multiverse". The event introduces new Cosmic Objectives, Loki Anomalies, and Weaver Trials that players can complete to unlock new loot. It also features a new Mixed Reality challenge called "Desert Rogues" available only on Meta Quest 3. Additionally, Super Rumble players in Horizon World can unlock an exclusive Loki outfit by sending the god a high five. Into the Multiverse follows yesterday's big update for Asgard's Wrath 2 and is completely free.

Vision Pro: Apple has reportedly sold over 200,000 units

Apple has reportedly sold over 200,000 units of its Vision Pro headsets in the first 10 days of availability in the US, according to a source cited by MacRumors. Apple analyst Kuo, who estimated sales of 180,000 over last week's pre-order weekend and warned of a rapid decline in demand, may be right. Demand could drop off quickly after core fans and heavy users place their orders, Kuo said. The headset, priced at $3,500, sold out for home delivery and in-store pickup shortly after pre-orders opened. If the numbers are correct, Apple would have sold about 20,000 units after the initial rush.

AR glasses maker Xreal secures $60M and prepares for production ramp-up

AR glasses maker Xreal has secured $60 million in a confidential strategic funding round, bringing its total fundraising to $300 million. The new funds will be used for research, development, and factory expansion to increase production of its AR glasses. Previous investors include Alibaba, Nio Capital, Sequoia, Kuaishou and Gentle Monster. In January, Xreal announced that it had shipped 350,000 pairs of AR glasses and introduced the Xreal Air 2 Ultra as a competitor to the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3. Priced at $699, the Xreal Air 2 Ultra is available for pre-order and will begin shipping in March.

In addition, five new workouts of varying difficulty have been added to the existing catalog of over 50 workouts, and a new Sword and Sorcery Legends-inspired setting has been introduced. Last year, Odders added a mixed reality mode and a virtual dance studio to the Les Mills XR series.
