VR Games Showcase 2024: All new VR games and announcements
The VR Games Showcase 2024 is over and presented some exciting VR games. We have rounded up all the new titles and information for you.
The first VR Games Showcase featured more than 15 surprises, gameplay demos and AAA announcements. Well-known developers like Vertigo Games, nDreams and Fast Travel Games were also present. If you missed the digital event, check out the new VR games and announcements from the showcase here.

Next VR Games Showcase and new XR show announced
In addition to the game announcements, presenter Jamie Feltham also took the opportunity to announce two further shows. The next edition of the VR Games Showcase is set to take place at the beginning of 2025. In addition, another event will take place next month on September 25. "XR Indies & Friends" is primarily intended to offer smaller XR studios a platform to present their mixed reality and VR projects.
Hitman 3 VR: Reloaded
In Hitman 3: Reloaded, Agent 47 returns as the world's best hitman for the most important missions of his career. The game has been redeveloped from the ground up for VR and uses the power of Meta Quest 3 to offer a wireless VR experience. A new gameplay trailer was shown at the showcase.

Arizona Sunshine Remake
Vertigo Games has announced Arizona Sunshine Remake, a new edition of the award-winning original game with completely revamped graphics and a modern VR combat and weapon system. You can face the undead alone or with up to three companions in a post-apocalyptic American Southwest that has been overrun by zombies. The remake lets you relive the original story, in which you desperately search for survivors.

Action Hero
In Action Hero, a bombastic VR FPS with explosive action sequences and a cinematic design, you fight your way through five spectacular films and take on the role of the hero. The gameplay runs in slow motion and only speeds up when you move. Dodge bullets in style, catch weapons in mid-air and defeat huge bosses.
Grim
Grim is an exclusive VR multiplayer survival game in which you plunge into a red wasteland where survival is not just a choice, but a grueling battle against nature and other desperate players. You must gather resources, craft and build your base to stay alive.

Silent North
In the Silent North of the Swiss Alps, you must survive alone or in a team against infected and other players, collect equipment, craft items and fight for superior gear. Take part in intense PVPVE battles, collect resources for basic necessities and venture into quarantine zones to get your hands on valuable loot.

Escaping Wonderland
The first gameplay trailer for Escaping Wonderland was shown, which also revealed the release date of September 25. In the sequel to Down the Rabbit Hole, you tumble headfirst down the rabbit hole and end up in a fantastic adventure where wonders and puzzles mix. You accompany the curious Molly on a brand new journey through the popular world of Alice in Wonderland. Puzzle your way through perplexing challenges and lose yourself in an enchanting landscape where nothing is as it seems.

Mannequin
Mannequin leaves Early Access in September and gets graphical improvements on Meta Quest 3. In the 2v3 hide-and-seek VR FPS multiplayer game, two elite agents hunt for Mannequins — shape-shifting aliens who disguise themselves by posing as human statues. They trick unsuspecting agents and freeze them with a single touch. Agents use advanced technology to scan for mannequins and then shoot to kill.

Frenzies
The crazy PvP shooter Frenzies will enter Early Access in October. Frenzies is set to combine the action of Fracked and Synapse with the chaos of multiplayer PvP. A new trailer shows more of the colorful gameplay.

Band Space
Band Space is an online co-op VR rhythm game in which you play drums, guitar, keyboard or bass on virtual stages. You can perform alone, with friends or with other online players. Choose an avatar and instruments and start jamming in Band Space.

Into The Radius
The VR hit Into The Radius is finally being released for Playstation VR 2. The atmospheric open-world single-player survival shooter puts you in a contaminated zone, cut off from the outside world. Your weapons and your wits are all you have left. Fight deadly enemies, avoid dangerous anomalies and complete missions on your way to the radius center to find a way out.

Fracked
Hit-Studio nDreams brings one of its early VR games to Meta Quest headsets with Fracked. Stranded in a remote mountain facility, you play a reluctant hero forced to defend the planet in a last stand against a legion of interdimensional enemies. Take aim and dive headfirst into explosive action as you shoot, ski and climb your way through an extreme adventure.

Silent Slayer: Vault of the Vampire
Already released for Meta Quest, Silent Slayer launches on PC VR via Steam on October 10. As a vampire hunter, you embark on a mythical mission to eliminate powerful sleeping monsters. You can only complete this jumpscare game with horror and puzzle elements by carefully disarming the coffins' defenses. Vendetta Forever
The newly announced Vendetta Forever combines fast-paced tactical gunplay with effortless acrobatic style in an uncompromising love letter to classic action movies. Flat2VR Studios line-up
Flat2VR Studios announced its first four projects at the VR Games Showcase. All information and trailers can be found in the linked article. The company is working on VR adaptations of the racing series FlatOut, the roguelike shooter Roboquest, the retro FPS Wrath: Aeon of Ruin and the rhythm game Trombone Champ. Trombone Champ will be released in fall 2024 for Meta Quest, Playstation VR 2 and Steam VR. The remaining projects do not yet have a release date.
