VueReal announces new Augmented Reality display tech

VueReal has unveiled ColourFusion microDisplay, an augmented reality display technology. The display combines full color microLED technology, an image quality enhancement algorithm, and LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) systems to deliver high resolution, color depth, and contrast, all while consuming low power. The technology is enabled by VueReal's MicroSolid Printing platform, which efficiently transfers microLEDs from wafer to backplane. The ColourFusion microDisplay offers enhanced pixel density and superior image quality, making it suitable for consumer and professional AR applications. Its energy efficiency is achieved through a low-power mode that adaptively adjusts the display's frame rate based on usage. VueReal's ColourFusion microDisplay will be showcased at Display Week 2024.
