ASUS ROG Flow Z13 gets a decent price cut on Amazon
The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers a different take on a gaming laptop: its 13.4-inch touchscreen and detachable keyboard can turn it into a Windows gaming tablet. Amazon has the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 model for $2,030.99, a $369 saving against its displayed $2,399.99 list price.
The offer is for the off-black model with 32GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. Amazon showed the new machine sold and shipped by Amazon when we checked; confirm the seller, delivery availability and final price before ordering.
That still makes the Flow Z13 a premium purchase, but the appeal is its combination of a small touchscreen and a laptop-class AMD chip. Buyers looking for the most gaming hardware per dollar may prefer a conventional laptop; this one asks you to pay for its compact, flexible design.
- Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with Radeon 8060S integrated graphics
- 32GB onboard memory and 1TB SSD
- 13.4-inch 2560 × 1600 touchscreen, up to 180Hz
- New; sold and shipped by Amazon when checked
A detachable gaming PC with a fast display
The 13.4-inch ROG Nebula touchscreen has a 2560 × 1600 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 180Hz refresh rate, according to ASUS’s specifications. The faster refresh can make motion feel smoother when a game is running at high frame rates, though the screen alone does not guarantee those frame rates.
Inside is AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395, a 16-core processor paired with integrated Radeon 8060S graphics. That graphics hardware uses the system’s shared memory; the 32GB configuration should not be confused with 32GB of dedicated graphics memory. Game performance will vary by title, resolution and settings.
The removable keyboard gives the Z13 a way to switch between typing and touchscreen use. A kickstand supports it on a desk, although the combination may feel less convenient on a lap than a standard hinged laptop.
Check the memory and ports before ordering
ASUS lists onboard LPDDR5X memory for the 32GB configuration, so buyers should choose the capacity they need rather than expect a simple RAM upgrade. The 1TB SSD offers room for a game library, but modern titles can fill it quickly.
The Flow Z13 includes USB-C, USB-A, HDMI and a microSD card reader, giving you ways to connect a display, accessories and additional storage. Its small screen is easy to carry, but it is less spacious than the 16- or 18-inch panels found on many gaming laptops.
The $369 saving compares Amazon’s current offer with its displayed list price, not a verified historical low. Prices and stock can change, so check the selected configuration and checkout total before buying.
