This 360Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor just dropped to $349, taking $296 off Newegg's price
ASRock's Phantom Gaming PGO27QFV combines a 27-inch QD-OLED panel with a 360Hz refresh rate, and Newegg has cut the monitor to $349. That's $296 less than the $645 comparison price shown on the listing; Newegg labels the saving 45%.
The offer is sold and shipped by Newegg. The new monitor was available to add to cart when checked, and Newegg labeled the price its lowest in 30 days. Availability and delivery can vary, and the price can change.
The panel has a 2560 x 1440 resolution and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. Its headline refresh rate is appealing for fast games, but you need a compatible system and a high frame rate to make full use of it.

A fast QD-OLED panel for games
The 27-inch display uses QD-OLED, a self-emissive technology that can turn individual pixels off for deep blacks. At 1440p, it sits between Full HD and 4K for pixel count, making it a useful size and resolution for a desktop setup.

ASRock rates the display for up to 360Hz and a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. Those are manufacturer specifications, not measurements from our own tests. The monitor supports variable refresh through FreeSync Premium Pro, which can help reduce tearing when used with a compatible graphics card.
ASRock lists 99% DCI-P3 coverage and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. Its quoted 1,000-nit HDR figure is a peak measurement; the manufacturer lists typical SDR brightness at 250 nits. Those numbers should not be read as a promise of 1,000 nits across the entire screen.

Ports and everyday considerations
There are two HDMI 2.1 inputs, one DisplayPort 1.4 connection, and USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode and up to 15W of power delivery. That USB-C output is useful for a small device but is not a substitute for a typical gaming laptop's power adapter. The stand adjusts for height, tilt and swivel, and the monitor also supports a 100 x 100mm VESA mount.
An unusual extra is an integrated Wi-Fi antenna. It connects to a compatible PC's wireless antenna connections; the screen does not add a Wi-Fi adapter to a computer by itself. ASRock also describes pixel-cleaning and logo-dimming features intended to reduce OLED image-retention risk.
The listed $349 price applies to the PGO27QFV, so check the model number when comparing other Phantom Gaming monitors. The $296 saving uses Newegg's displayed comparison price, and its 30-day-low label should not be confused with an all-time low.
