Meta Quest July Sale: 90+ games are now up to 48 percent cheaper
Meta's July sale is here and some games are up to 48 percent off, including some of the best mixed reality titles.
The July sale ends at 11:59 pm PT on July 28th.
Here are three titles that support mixed reality in interesting or impressive ways and are part of the July deals.

Drop Dead: The Cabin
Drop Dead: The Cabin is a great co-op action game for virtual reality that received a standalone mixed reality mode called Home Invasion in October 2023.
Instead of fighting for survival in and around a cabin in the woods, for the first time you fight in your own home. This becomes a safe house, secured with wooden planks and steel doors through which zombies and other monsters try to enter. Your goal is to survive until help arrives. Fortunately, there is a breather every few minutes, and new weapons and ammo appear in the weapon rack.
Home Invasion is currently one of the best mixed reality shooters for Quest 3, as I wrote in my hands-on.

MiRacle Pool
MiRacle Pool delivers a realistic pool experience right in your home, or at least as realistic as "air pool" can be. From a purely visual point of view, the table and the balls look deceptively real, as Josef wrote in his hands-on with MiRacle Pool:
"Miracle Pool is a fantastic example of how real mixed reality can feel today. From the very first shot, I felt like I was playing real pool. Besides the realism and the numerous game modes, it is the well-thought-out details — like the adjustable table size and positioning or the arcade mode with aiming aid — that make Miracle Pool one of the best mixed reality apps for Meta Quest 3. Just make sure you don't lean against the table out of sheer immersion!"

Pillow
Pillow is a unique mixed reality app because it is optimized for use while lying down. There are currently five different experiences, or "dreams" as developer Lucas Rizzotto calls them, available in the app:
- In the first dream, the ceiling pulls back to reveal a view of a digital starry sky where you can explore star constellations.
- In the second dream, the ceiling becomes a pond where you can fish with a virtual fishing rod. Each day, a different personal question appears in the pond, which you can answer anonymously through a microphone if you wish. As you catch fish, you can hear what other users have answered.
- The third dream offers guided meditations with different visualizations and help with breathing techniques.
- In the fourth dream, you can have AI-generated bedtime stories read to you. A magical fairy tale and picture book opens and you can listen to the story and admire the colorful illustrations.
- In the fifth dream, you can share a virtual bed with someone else.
