This new Mixed Reality game for Meta Quest 3 will turn your Living Room into a virtual zoo
In November, Living Room will be released exclusively for Meta Quest and will turn your living room into a home for virtual animals.
Developer studio Thoughtfish is releasing the mixed reality game Living Room exclusively on the Quest platform for Meta Quest 3, Quest 3S and other Quest headsets on November 7th. The cozy eco-sim transforms your own home into a habitat for virtual animals such as zebras, sheep, raccoons, and gorillas.
Living Room leverages the mixed reality capabilities of the Quest VR headsets, including furniture detection. This allows you to transform your real environment into an immersive animal world. The main game is about creating a habitat for the animals. The challenge mode presents players with tricky scenarios, while the creative mode allows players to freely design habitats.
Christina Barleben, CEO and co-founder of Thoughtfish, is excited for the Living Room community: "I'm particularly excited about the many snapshots that players will take in the game and use to decorate their room as they hang out with their favorite animal," Barleben said.
"Once they've bonded with their pet, players will be able to enlarge their best four-legged friend to life size and walk around the room with them. I can't wait to see which animals become the most popular pets in the living room!"
