This is what the new Star Wars game for Meta Quest 3 looks like

New details and first gameplay footage have emerged from Quest 3's exclusive mixed reality game, Star Wars: Beyond Victory.
Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) and Lucasfilm today announced more details about "Star Wars: Beyond Victory - A Mixed Reality Playset" and released a first gameplay trailer.
The mixed reality game is currently in development for Meta Quest 3 and 3S, and was revealed to the public for the first time at Star Wars Celebration 2025 in Japan.
The game's story is set around the events of "Solo: A Star Wars Story" and features three different game modes:
- Adventure: Using a combination of virtual and mixed reality, the story follows Volo – an aspiring podracer whose life gets flipped upside down under the mentorship of the infamous Sebulba.
- Arcade: Experience the thrill of podracing in mixed reality on a virtual holotable that brings players right into the heart of the action like never before.
- Playset: Transform the physical world around you and create your very own incredible Star Wars moments in mixed reality with a collection of unlockable virtual action figures and vehicles.
"We're calling this a Playset because it isn't just a game; it's an entirely new way to experience the Star Wars galaxy and the worlds we create at ILM," said Executive Producer Alyssa Finley. "This new mixed reality experience blends the physical and digital worlds in a way that's unlike anything we've done before and we're so excited to share a special first look with our incredible Star Wars community."
Star Wars Celebration 2025 is taking place April 18-20 at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center in Japan. ILM and Meta have set up more than a dozen Quest stations where attendees can get a sneak peek at the game. The demo includes part of the Volo story and an exciting pod race in arcade mode.
You can add the game to your wishlist in the Horizon Store. It is currently not known when Star Wars: Beyond Victory will be released.
