Meta Quest: VR sandbox Anarchitects launches today in Early Access

Starting today, you can let your creativity run wild with Anarchitects on Meta Quest. Build your own mini-games without any programming skills.

FACTS

Canada's Squido Studio has today released Anarchitects, a new free-to-play sandbox game for Meta Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro. With access to nearly 200 unique components and customization options, you can play and create with up to ten friends in real time.

A drag-and-drop system allows you to create your own mini-games without any programming knowledge. You can customize and manipulate gravity and physical elements. A special feature is the seamless transition between different game modes without loading screens.

The studio plans to provide new objects and features in themed seasons through regular updates. A medieval theme with new gameplay elements such as swordplay and shields is planned for future updates.

Anarchitects offers several movement systems to choose from. In addition to a style inspired by “No More Rainbows” and Gorilla Tag, which relies on arm movements, joystick controls or a combination of both are also possible. Although the game is free to play, there are optional cosmetic items available for purchase with over 300 possible combinations.

As an incentive, players who rate Anarchitects during the launch period will receive an exclusive in-game gift.
