Lego Bricktales VR for Meta Quest 3 gets release date, new trailer

Lego Bricktales VR will be released in December for Meta Quest 2 and 3. You can pre-order the VR game now.

Lego Bricktales VR is based on the flat game of the same name for consoles, Mac and PC, and smartphones. The VR port was announced during Meta Connect 2023 for the Meta Quest platform. The game is optimized for the recently released Meta Quest 3.

Publisher Thunderful describes Lego Bricktales VR as follows:

"Embark on an epic adventure across a world of beautiful LEGO diorama biomes crafted brick by brick as you search for inspiration to help your grandfather reinvigorate his rundown amusement park with your little robot buddy in tow. Your journey will take you to the deepest jungle, sun-drenched deserts, a bustling city corner, a towering medieval castle, and tropical Caribbean islands."

Lego Bricktales VR has a mixed reality mode

Throughout the game, you'll have to build various objects out of Lego bricks, solve physics puzzles, and unlock new abilities that allow you to explore new areas. On top of specific puzzles and quests, there are additional builds in the amusement park, so you can customize the rides to make them your own.

Meta Quest 3 will let you place the dioramas on tables and other surfaces in your living room, magically blending the game world with the physical world. The creative brick-by-brick building mechanic that made the title such a hit on other platforms has been adapted to the Meta Quest 3's VR controls to put the game's LEGO pieces at your fingertips like never before.

Now, publisher Thunderful and Austrian studio Clockstone announced that Lego Bricktales VR will be released on December 7th for Meta Quest 2,3 and Pro for $30. Those who pre-order the game will receive an exclusive Alien Trooper outfit.
