AR headset Magic Leap 1 will soon stop working properly

Magic Leap has announced that the Magic Leap 1 AR headset will be discontinued on 31 December 2024. The company has emailed all customers to inform them of the upcoming discontinuation of operating system updates, customer support and cloud services for the device. The Magic Leap 1 was launched in 2018 as the first transparent AR headset for consumers, but failed to sell well due to its high price and the limitations of its transparent optics. The company is now fully focused on the enterprise market and the Magic Leap 2 headset.
