Apple plans to open several "Apple Vision Pro Developer Labs" to give developers the opportunity to work with the headset before the Apple Vision Pro VR/AR headset is released in early 2024. The labs will open this summer in cities including London, Munich, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, and Cupertino.
This week, Apple unveiled its Vision Pro VR/AR headset. The headset comes without VR controllers and is controlled only by eye, hand tracking and voice. These are the basic hand tracking gestures:

Apple has confirmed the acquisition of Mira, a Los Angeles-based augmented reality startup. The move comes just one day after Apple unveiled its Vision Pro mixed reality headset. Mira has contracts with the US Air Force and the US Navy. Mira's AR headsets are also being used for a Mario Kart experience at Universal Studios theme parks in Los Angeles and Japan. At least 11 of Mira's employees joined Apple as part of the acquisition. Read more: The Verge
