Meta Quest Charts: AAA VR game aims to return to the top 10

Animal Company replaces Gorilla Tag at the top of the Meta Quest charts and a AAA VR hit wants to return to the top 10.

The current Meta Quest charts continue to paint a familiar picture: social gaming experiences and sandbox titles dominate both the sales and revenue charts.

Compared to the previous week, Animal Company once again snatches the place in the sun and pushes Gorilla Tag into second place in both chart lists, closely followed by VR evergreen Beat Saber.

It is striking that an old acquaintance is slowly making his way back to the top. Only recently, Tomislav declared that Meta Quest was not a platform for AAA games. He used the weak sales figures for Assassin's Creed Nexus as an example. The title has only found just over 400,000 buyers so far — too few for such an expensively produced game.

In the current Quest sale, more players seem to have regained interest in the elaborately staged VR blockbuster. It may not be enough for a top 10 ranking so far, but Assassin's Creed Nexus still managed to reach 12th place in the bestseller charts and 11th place in terms of revenue this week.
