CONTEXT

Synth Riders continues to grow

With the release of "80s Mixtape — Side B", the Synth Riders soundtrack now includes over 150 songs. Of these, 77 licensed tracks are included in the game for free, while a further 75 songs are available as optional DLCs. The licensed artists include a-ha, Gorillaz, Muse, Bruno Mars and Lindsey Stirling.

As recently as April, Kluge Interactive added five more 80s hits to Synth Riders with 80s Mixtape — Side A, including "Take On Me" by a-ha and "Whip It" by DEVO. This DLC also introduced a new, free retro-futuristic vaporwave-style arena.

Kluge Interactive is planning more tracks and experiences for 2025 — similar to the recent Barbie collaboration with Mattel. The studio wants to establish Synth Riders as the leading immersive platform for music discovery.
