AR glasses manufacturer Xreal secures $60M in strategic fundraising
AR glasses maker Xreal has closed a new $60 million round of financing. This brings the company's total funding to $300 million. Investors include Alibaba, Nio Capital, Sequoia, Kuaishou and Gentle Monster among others. Xreal plans to invest the money in research, development, and factory expansion. The company recently unveiled the Xreal Air 2 Ultra, which is being marketed as an affordable alternative to Apple's Vision Pro. The price is $699 and pre-orders will start shipping in mid-October.
