A VR mod makes Watch Dogs playable with a PC VR headset
VR modder Luke Ross has brought Ubisoft's Watch Dogs to virtual reality. Access requires a Patreon membership.
The Watch Dogs R.E.A.L. VR mod has been available since Sunday. It allows you to experience the open world game with 6 DoF tracking and stereoscopy. The game can be played with a gamepad or mouse and keyboard.
To play Watch Dogs in VR, you need a computer, a PC VR-compatible headset, a Patreon membership with Luke Ross ($10) and the original game, which you can buy on Steam for $20.
Since the game was released in 2014, it has relatively low system requirements and could run well on a moderate computer.
Ian Higton from Eurogamer gives a preview of the VR mod in a YouTube video.
The mod itself is available on Patreon.

Luke Ross has previously brought titles such as Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Horizon Zero Dawn, various Far Cry games, Hogwarts Legacy, both Marvel's Spider-Man, Uncharted 4 and, most recently, Horizon Forbidden West to PC VR headsets.
