Ven VR takes on Crash Bandicoot on PSVR 2
Ven VR Adventure is a colorful VR homage to the golden age of 3D platformers. The cheerful hero will soon be jumping on PSVR 2.
In December 2020, Ven VR Adventure provided simple but idyllic platforming fun for SteamVR headsets. A Quest port in August 2021 will soon be followed by an implementation for Playstation VR 2.
Sony's VR headset should show off the idyllically lit backdrops particularly well if the HDR adaptation is done right. The Quest port has already shown that developer Monologic Games is capable of delivering skillful ports for different devices.
Moss gets company
The Crash Bandicoot-like platformer only has linear levels like in Lucky's Tale and isn't as balanced as Astro Bot Rescue Mission or Moss. Still, the VR game's idyllic locations and tricky traps should appeal to many jump 'n' run fans.
So far, developer Monologic Games has only hinted at the launched page in the Playstation Store. A release date for PSVR 2 has not yet been set.
