VR hit Ghosts of Tabor is coming soon to Playstation VR 2
Combat Waffle brings Ghosts of Tabor, one of today's biggest VR hits, to Sony's Playstation VR 2 this summer.
Developer Combat Waffle has announced the release of Ghosts of Tabor on Playstation VR 2 for later this summer. This is the studio's response to the numerous calls from the community for a PSVR 2 conversion.
Owners of Sony's VR headset can look forward to graphical improvements and implementation of the haptic feedback of the Sense Controllers and headset itself. Combat Waffle is working with VRMonkey on the PSVR 2 version of Ghosts of Tabor. The studio was previously responsible for the ports of The Exorcist: Legion VR and Vampire: The Masquerade — Justice.
Combat Waffle has not yet announced a specific release date for the PSVR 2 version. However, Ghosts of Tabor is expected to be released for Sony's VR headset in late summer, probably in August or September 2024.
One of the most successful VR games of recent times
Combat Waffle will be part of the "Home of XR" Megabooth at this year's Gamescom and has already confirmed its participation in the VR Games Showcase in mid-August. It is possible that we will hear more about the PSVR 2 version at the end of August, at the latest.

Since its Early Access launch on Steam and Meta Quest in March 2023, Ghosts of Tabor has garnered over 6,800 reviews on Steam. With more than 12,500 reviews on Meta Quest, it is one of the most highly rated games ever. In Meta Quest's App Lab alone, the game had already generated $3 million in sales before the full version of Ghosts of Tabor was released in the official store this spring.
