PowerA Travel Bag review: Meta Quest 3(S) cleverly packed
PowerA has released a new carrying case for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S. The bag from the "Made for Meta" program is designed to transport VR headsets and controllers safely. My review will show if it is worth the price.
Gaming accessory manufacturer PowerA announced a new line of accessories for Meta Quest 3 in early October. A travel bag, a hip clip for VR controllers, a silicone protection set and a charging station for Meta Quest 3 will be released under the official "Made for Meta" label.
PowerA gave us the Travel Bag to test, and I took a closer look at it.

PowerA Travel Bag for Quest 3: Soft shell, hard core
When you open the case, you immediately notice the unconventional interior construction. A hard shell with Velcro fasteners is attached to the back. You take it out and place the VR headset inside.

The shell then slides back into the side of the case and is secured with Velcro, an unusual but effective solution. Rubber straps hold both the VR headset and both controllers securely in the pre-shaped recesses.
The headset still fits even with an additional battery head strap, although it does make it a bit more difficult to attach. Overall, the bag has a high-quality finish, only the zippers could run a little smoother.
During my initial carrying tests, the bag made a solid impression. The padded mesh insert on the back and the reinforced bottom provide stability and keep everything in place.

The adjustable, generously padded shoulder strap should be comfortable for most body sizes. Practical: Cables and accessories can be stored in three separate compartments in the back, and PowerA also includes a lens cleaning cloth and pen.
Verdict: Stylish soft case with sufficient protection for Quest headsets
The PowerA Travel Bag has a practical design and is well-made. The side storage of the headset may seem unusual at first, but it provides secure protection during transportation.
The bag is aimed at users who want to transport their VR headset occasionally and prefer soft material to a hard case.
However, the price of $50 seems a bit high. Still, if you're looking for a flexible transportation solution for your Quest 3 or Quest 3S, you can't go wrong with this bag.
