New Apple Pencil for Vision Pro rumoured to be in the works

Apple is reportedly testing a new Apple Pencil with support for visionOS. This would make the pencil compatible with Apple Vision Pro. In drawing applications, users would be able to draw on a flat surface and see the result in Vision Pro. It is unclear which software version will add support and whether the new Apple Pencil, which could be released in April, will support visionOS. The first beta of visionOS 1.2 should be available to developers this week, and visionOS 2.0 will be released later this year, according to Apple expert Mark Gurman.
