Monthly VR games
The following monthly VR games are being added this month:
Thrasher
Brian Gibson, the composer and visual artist behind the cult hit Thumper, has created a new VR game called Thrasher that blends mind-bending visuals with thumping electronic music and arcade-style action. The gameplay puts you in control of a space eel, which you guide using either hand gestures or traditional controllers. While the game appears to have depth, all the actual gameplay takes place on a single plane — your job is to fly through certain objects to destroy them while dodging others.
The game introduces an interesting twist with power-ups that let you perform thrust attacks on objects you'd normally need to avoid. One of its most notable features is its accessibility — you can play while lying down or even with just one hand, making it unusually approachable for a VR title.
You can find more information about the game in the Meta Horizon Store. Regular price: $20
Breachers
If you've ever wanted to experience Rainbow Six Siege-style tactical combat in VR, Breachers might be exactly what you're looking for. This 5v5 multiplayer shooter has teams alternating between attacking (as Enforcers) and defending (as Revolters), with each side bringing unique capabilities to the fight.
The Enforcers break into buildings using creative tools like grappling hooks and window breaches, working to defuse bombs while the Revolters set up defensive measures including door barricades, mines, and motion detectors. The game nails the fundamentals with balanced weapon handling and a satisfying reload system. Its detailed environments and realistic textures are complemented by precise audio design that lets you pinpoint enemy locations by sound.
You can find more information about the game in the Meta Horizon Store. Regular price: $30

How Meta Quest+ works
Meta Quest+ was launched in July 2023 and has been offering two monthly VR games ever since. The subscription works like this:
- Every month, Meta selects two new VR games.
- You must claim the new VR games each month online, in the headset, or in the Meta Horizon app, or the offer will expire at the end of the month. This also means that you can't claim VR games from previous months retroactively.
- If you claim the VR games every month, your Quest+ game library will grow over time.
- The VR subscription can be canceled at any time, so you can skip a month if you already own the VR games announced for the next month.
- If you cancel your subscription, you'll lose access to the VR games you've claimed. If you re-subscribe, you'll regain access to them and be able to claim the VR games that are currently available.
- Quest+ supports Quest 3S, Quest 3, Quest 2, and Quest Pro.
In March 2024, a Game Pass-style game catalog was added, making Meta Quest+ much more appealing, especially to new Quest customers. Titles rotate in and out on a monthly basis.
The price has not changed: Meta Quest+ costs $7.99 USD per month or $59.99 USD for an annual subscription.
