What to expect in Blade & Sorcery

Blade & Sorcery is one of the most popular VR combat simulations of all time. It has nearly 47,000 reviews on Steam and just as many on Meta Quest. No wonder, as the game's physics-based combat system hits a nerve with VR fans.

You can engage in melee, ranged, and magic attacks in a medieval fantasy sandbox. Collisions are dictated by fine hit boxes, objects have weight and respect the laws of physics. Creatures have full-body physics, and blades penetrate soft materials or deflect magic.

With "The End Update" on June 17th, Blade & Sorcery will leave Early Access after five years and will receive a long-awaited story mode called "Crystal Hunt". For the first time, the loose sandbox combat will be integrated into a story, allowing you to dive deep into the lore of the fantasy world.

You will embark on a journey to become a master of your preferred fighting style - whether you are a fire mage or a melee fighter. In addition to the story mode, spell content triples, weapon selection doubles, and there is a new dungeon to explore.

With the 1.0 release, the price has also increased from 20 to 30 Euros. The quest version of Blade & Sorcery: Nomad will receive the final update later this year.
