Quest 3: VR platformer Max Mustard skips App Lab

Max Mustard was supposed to launch today in Meta's App Lab as an Early Access version for Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro. The Developers can now skip this stage, which means the VR game will land directly on the Quest Store — but not until 21 March. Max Mustard was revealed at last year's Gamescom and is being developed by Toast Interactive, the creators of Richie's Plank Experience. The VR platformer lets you control the eponymous character through 40 levels, where you fight bosses and upgrade Max with new abilities. The full version is expected to cost just under $30. PC VR and PSVR 2 versions are planned for mid-2024.
