Meta Quest 3: Popular VR stealth shooter Espire 1 gets graphics update
Espire 1: VR Operative is now part of Meta's revamped Quest+ subscription service. To celebrate the launch, the developers are releasing a new free update. "New Recruits" will bring significant improvements to Quest 3, Quest 2 and Quest Pro. Quest 3 users in particular should notice a significant boost in graphics and performance. There will also be improvements to stealth gameplay, audio mixing, and leaderboards. Patch 1.11 will be released later in March with the same scope on other VR platforms.
Body of Mine VR is getting an enhanced edition for Quest 3
A new version of Body of Mine VR, designed specifically for Quest 3, is currently in production and will be released in the summer of 2024. This enhanced standalone version will provide an even more immersive and transformative full-body experience without the need for body trackers. In addition, Body of Mine VR was recently honored with the Producers Guild of America Innovation Award, joining the ranks of other winners such as Chris Nolan and Martin Scorsese.
VR-Rhythm-Game Beat The Beats: Demo available for Meta Quest and SteamVR
Parallel Circles has released a demo of its rhythm and fighting game Beat The Beats on Meta Quest's AppLab and SteamVR, following the launch on PSVR 2. The demo features a tutorial and four levels, with the final level only accessible after getting an A on all previous levels. The first playthrough takes about 15 to 30 minutes. The full game, which combines boxing-style punching with musical arcade levels in VR, will be released on Meta Quest and SteamVR later this year.

U.S. home improvement retailer Lowe's has developed Style StudioTM, an exclusive app for Apple Vision Pro. It allows customers to visualize and design their dream kitchen in a realistic VR environment. Lowe's Style Studio offers a variety of preset styles from professional designers and hundreds of customizable materials, fixtures, and appliances available from Lowe's. Completed designs can be shared on personal style boards via email, text, or AirDrop.
