Apple working on augmented reality head-up display

Apple is developing augmented reality display technology for vehicles that could display information on windshields or other windows. According to a patent application filed by the company, the AR displays could simulate objects in the environment and monitor driver performance. The technology could also be used to enable FaceTime calls between car occupants and people in other vehicles.

DJ Aphex Twin has released an augmented reality app called YXBoZXh0d2lu that interactively visualizes his new EP "Blackbox Life Recorder 21f / in a room7 F760" with 3D objects. Users scan the physical packaging to unlock various AR experiences based on individual tracks. The app is available for free for iOS and Android and was developed in collaboration with Studio KALKUL, Weirdcore and Warp Records.
