Co-op VR shooter After The Fall gets a major update
The post-apocalyptic shooter After The Fall is getting new content and quality of life improvements after a longer hiatus.
Update 1.9, called "Nightfall", is now available for all VR platforms where After The Fall is available. It contains numerous bug fixes as well as the following new content and improvements
- 3 new Horde maps taken from the PVP content, including a skyscraper rooftop, an abandoned warehouse, and a Chinatown marketplace.
- The Hunting Rifle: a new weapon with armor-piercing bullets. You can kill multiple Snowbreeds with a single well-placed shot, even at higher difficulty levels.
- UI screens have been improved to make social and matchmaking more seamless and easier to navigate.
- The progression system has been improved to be more fun.
The full patch notes can be found on the official website.
After The Fall is available for Meta Quest, Playstation VR 2, SteamVR, Pico.
After The Fall was released in December 2021 and comes from Vertigo Games, the studio behind Arizona Sunshine 1 & 2 and the upcoming Metro Awakening.
The last update, Descension, was released a while ago in February 2023, so hopefully the new update will breathe new life into the VR game.
