Titanic VR for Quest 3 has arrived: Dive to the wreck now

Titanic VR for Meta Quest 3 and 3S is said to offer a "hauntingly realistic" dive into the famous shipwreck.
Titanic VR was released for Meta Quest 3 and 3S on April 15th at 2:20 pm, exactly 113 years before the sinking of the legendary ship.
In the simulation, players take on the role of a deep-sea explorer and use a submarine to explore the wreck of the RMS Titanic. According to developer Engage (formerly Immersive VR Education), the wreck has been recreated in great detail based on scientific data and images from the 1985 discovery by Dr. Robert Ballard and Jean-Louis Michel.
Designed as an educational experience, the VR game offers free exploration of the wreck from the inside and outside, as well as story-based missions such as recovering artifacts, underwater scans, and working with a fictional Hollywood director to make a documentary. In total, Engage promises six hours of gameplay and educational content.
A safe and affordable alternative to real Titanic expeditions
"Real-world exploration of the Titanic is incredibly dangerous, expensive, and increasingly restricted," said David Whelan, CEO of Engage. "With Titanic VR, we offer a safe, accessible, and deeply respectful way for people to connect with this historic event from anywhere in the world."
An update will follow later this year that will take players back to 1912 and let them relive the sinking of the Titanic from the perspective of Lifeboat 6.
Titanic VR for Meta Quest is a port of the PC VR game of the same name, released in 2018. It already includes the historical experience.
MIXED will play Titanic VR tonight and publish a hands-on with first impressions tomorrow.
