Tabletop RPG Demeo looks and runs better after major technical update

Demeo has received a major engine update that improves graphics, load times, and performance and enables eye-tracked foveated rendering.
Resolution Games has released a technical update for Demeo, upgrading the game to Unity's Universal Render Pipeline (URP) to enhance the visual quality and enable eye-tracked foveated rendering on supported devices.
The studio also replaced the previous lighting system with the one provided by Unity 6, which allows for beautiful gradients on the environments. Resolution Games has also reworked nearly all materials to be compatible with URP and the new lighting system.
Finally, the loading system has been reworked to reduce the memory footprint and improve performance as well as loading times across all platforms.
Demeo is being prepared for a D&D game
The studio has been working on the engine update for ten months. In a blog post, the studio writes that the update will make it easier to provide new content for Demeo.
"We started development of Demeo in 2017, and a lot of pretty huge leaps in immersive entertainment and game engines have taken place since then. As a result, part of “the engine” that we used to create Demeo became outdated. Until now, this has made it difficult for us to bring new content to the game and proved to be restrictive in terms of continuing to support new hardware and platforms in the future."
Demeo has not received any new adventures since the end of 2023. This is probably because Resolution Games is hard at work on Battlemarked, an official D&D game based on the Demeo RPG system. It is not yet known when Battlemarked will be released.
In addition to these purely technical improvements, the update brought new ranks and an increase in experience from 75 to 90.
