FACTS

Ace Virtual Shooting has launched their "Sig Experience" system, which pairs VR with meticulously crafted replicas of popular Sig Sauer models. The system features true-to-life versions of both the P320 and P365, designed to match the originals in weight, size, and handling. Each replica incorporates VR controllers that provide tracking and haptic feedback during use.

The training platform offers everything from basic shooting fundamentals to advanced tactical scenarios that require users to move, think, and shoot under pressure. Users can measure their progress against others through a global leaderboard system.

Getting started with the Sig Experience requires a $199 investment for each pistol replica, plus an Ace Club membership that runs either $14 monthly with an annual commitment or $19 for month-to-month access. You'll also need a compatible Meta Quest headset — the system works with the Quest 2, Quest 3, or Quest 3S.

CONTEXT

Virtual dry-fire training as a cost-effective alternative

VR-based dry-fire practice offers a compelling and cost-effective training supplement for sports marksmen. Shooters can maintain their skills without leaving home or burning through expensive ammunition.

The VR weapons market isn't limited to professional systems. StrikerVR, known for their commercial arcade equipment, recently introduced their first consumer product — the Mavrik rifle for Meta Quest. While significantly less expensive than their $1,200+ professional models, the $499 Mavrik still commands a premium over the Sig Experience system. The Mavrik comes bundled with three VR games, targeting entertainment applications.
