Sportvida CyberDash combines VR fitness with plenty of action
Smash obstacles and burn calories: Sportvida CyberDash gets you fit in a futuristic VR world.
Ible Technology is bringing its first VR game to Steam VR and Meta's lineup of headsets, including the Quest 3 and Quest 3S. "Sportvida CyberDash", which will cost $19.99, is already available in Early Access on the Meta Horizon Store where it's maintaining a solid 4-star rating.
The game puts a new spin on the VR fitness genre by blending workout elements with action gameplay in a futuristic setting. Players make their way through 30 different levels, where they'll need to smash, break through, or dodge various obstacles along the way.
Players can choose between two difficulty settings to match their fitness goals. The "Lenient Mode" offers a more casual experience with light cardio training, while "Strict Mode" demands more vigorous arm movements for those wanting a more intense workout. There's also a practice mode where players can get comfortable with the game's mechanics without worrying about time limits.
Fitness tracking and global leaderboards
Sportvida CyberDash offers these features:
- Three combat mechanics: players can slice obstacles with digital blades, smash them with fists or break through marked walls
- Workout tracking: The game logs playing time, calories burned, steps and training frequency in daily and weekly overviews
- Global competition: Players can set personal best times and compete in global leaderboards
- Scalable challenge: 30 levels with different levels of difficulty appeal to both beginners and advanced players
Iible Technology aims to blend gaming with exercise to help people stay active. Their latest product, Sportvida CyberDash, is designed to make regular workouts feel more like play than exercise.
